Q. Is this a drop off program, or are parents able to stay?
A. All INC classes are drop-off only which require the parent / guardian to drop off their child.
Q. Are you a school?
A. No. We are a private facility that supports parents in their home education journey by providing a safe and unique learning environment through our wide variety of class offerings.
Q. How many students are in each class?
A. INC Classes have a maximum of 20 students, per class.
Q. What does the Resource Fee include?

Q. What curriculum will be used?
A. Teachers will use a combination several different curriculums to formulate their lesson plans
Q. Will there be homework?
A. No. The reading journal will go back and forth with your student, but their curriculum books will remain in the classroom. This will ensure students are not getting ahead of teacher lesson plans and are able to learn and engage with the lessons and students in class.
Q. Do I need to buy curriculum for home?
A. Each homeschool learning plan looks different. The curriculum we use in class will not go back and forth with your child. If you plan to utilize the same curriculum at home, it may be advisable to purchase additional resources. The digital format of The Good and The Beautiful curriculum can be downloaded for free on their website.
Q. Are the teachers certified with the state of Florida?
A. Yes, all of our INC teachers are certified through the FL Department of Education.
Q. Do the teachers have any CPR or First Aid Training?
A. Yes, all of our INC teachers have both CPR & First Aid training through the American Red Cross. There is a First Aid, CPR, and LifeVac kit inside the barn classroom in the event of an emergency.
Q. Do you accept the Step-Up PEP / UA Scholarship?
A. Yes, we are Direct Pay with PEP and UA. Tuition payments will be made directly through the EMA.
Q. Will my child be sitting in a seat all day?
A. Absolutely not. We have a loose schedule, and the flow of our day varies greatly upon many factors. Our educators believe in child-led learning and that flexibility is vital. Our goal is not to replicate brick and mortar school, rather to create an environment that's more conducive to meaningful learning. It's likely that no two learning days will look the same.
Q. Will my child interact with animals during class?
A. It is likely that your child will interact with some kind of animal at some point during class. On the farm, we have various free-range poultry, and the barn classroom is located next to our sheep pasture. Our sensory garden is adjacent to the goat pastures, and we also have cats and dogs that roam the farm. Depending on the teacher's plan, the level of interaction will vary.
Q. What security measures does the facility have in place to ensure the safety of children?
A. The property is access-controlled by a locked gate, and the Barn Classroom is access-controlled by a keypad door entry. There is video monitoring inside the classroom, along with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher. All teachers are CPR and First Aid certified. All parents or guardians will be required to sign their child in and out of class and to have an executed emergency contact form on file for any individuals authorized to transport their child to and from class.
